Autumn in New England Otolaryngology Update

Please join us for the 2014 Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center Autumn in New England Otolaryngology Update. During this multi-day meeting you will hear from local and national experts on a number of important topics including evidence based guidelines for the management of common Otolaryngologic conditions, discussions on surgical techniques, head and neck imaging, head and neck pathology, and payment reform. The meeting will be held at the Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee, Vermont– in early October, peak time to appreciate the beautiful New England fall colors.

Registration

Online registration is now closed. There is still space available. If you would like to attend, you may register as a walk-in the day of the conference. For walk-in registration questions, please e-mail Jeffrey.S.Peck@hitchcock.org.

The registration fees are as follows:

  • MDs by 9/1: $475; after 9/1: $550
  • Mid-level/Resident: $375, one day $190
  • RNs: $250, one day $125
  • Students: $200, one day $100
  • Dinner Fee: An additional $50 per dinner, per person (conference attendees & guests)
  • Attend the Saturday Night Dinner and Presentation Only: $60 (dinner included)

The registration deadline September 26, 2014. There will be no refunds after that date. A $25 administrative fee will be retained on all refunds requested before the registration deadline. Target Audience

Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Other Providers, Physicians Assistants, and Residents.

Objectives

At the end of this continuing education activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the imaging and pathologic studies, treatment options, and outcomes associated with management of tumors of the head and neck;
  • Describe the latest hearing aid and implantable technologies available for aural rehabilitation;
  • Summarize recent developments in OSA airway evaluation and management;
  • Review office based strategies for evaluation of the dizzy patient.
Accreditation

The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
