Neonatal Certification Review Course

This intensive two-day program will give you the knowledge and confidence you need to successfully complete either the RNC-NIC offered by the National Certification Corporation or the Neonatal CCRN offered by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. If you are a nurse who plans to take either exam, or a nurse who works in a neonatal intensive care or special care nursery, or a nurse who simply wants an intensive review of neonatal nursing, this course is for you!

This two day course will provide 14 contact hours for those who attend the program in its entirety.

Registration is online and by credit card only. Register Now

The registration fees are as follows:

  • Dartmouth-Hitchcock Employees and Affiliates: No Charge (online registration still required for planning purposes)
  • NEAH Hospital Employees: $100
  • Others: $150

Preregistration and payment required. The registration deadline is 10 days prior to the activity date. There will be no refunds after that date. Faculty Bio

Keri R. Rogelet, RN, MSN, MBA/HCM, CCRN, RNC-NIC
Keri has presented national programs for neonatal certification, developmental care, and the Pediatric CCRN. Keri co-authored the Neonatal Certification Review for the CCRN and RNC-High Risk Examinations & the Pediatric CCRN Certification Review. She currently works as an educator, clinical practice coordinator, team leader and neonatal transport nurse in a Level II/III NICU. Keri is an NRP Mentor Trainer for the American Academy of Pediatrics and a lead instructor for the S.T.A.B.L.E. Program. In addition, she works as a consultant for neonatal, pediatric, and adult product applications. Professional affiliations include Sigma Theta Tau, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, AWHONN, and the Academy of Neonatal Nurses.

Learning Outcome(s)

At the conclusion of the course, learners will be prepared to take and successfully complete the certification exam for high risk neonatal nursing care.

Accreditation

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nursing Continuing Education Council is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This educational activity carries 14 contact hours.

Receiving Contact Hours

The follow steps must be completed in order to receive contact hours for this event:

  • Register for the event online
  • Attend the event or session(s). A contact hours tracking sheet will be provided.
  • Complete the online evaluation - Must be submitted within 30 days after the activity

    Accessing the Online Evaluation (The evaluation is available the day after the event)

  • Log onto https://mylogin.hitchcock.org/ce
  • Click on the My Activities link in the left side menu. Then click on the name of the activity you attended.
  • Click on the Resume button.
  • Click the Continue button until the Evaluation tab is active, and then click the Launch button.
  • Fill out the evaluation and then click submit. Contact hours will then be applied to your transcript. You can view your updated transcript by clicking on the "View Transcript" button.
