Using a case-based approach, and featuring internationally prominent faculty, the 35th Annual Cardiovascular Symposium at Dartmouth offers participants the chance to learn in an interactive setting. A broad spectrum of topics in cardiology will be covered, with an emphasis on frequently encountered challenging clinical scenarios in outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular practice. Registration

Registration for this event has closed. There is still space available. If you would like to attend, you may register as a walk-in the day of the conference. For walk-in registration questions, please e-mail jeannette.k.champagne@hitchcock.org.

Registration is online and by credit card only.

The registration fees are as follows:

  • MD/Faculty: $225
  • PA, NP, APRN, Fellows, Allied Health: $125

Preregistration and payment required. The registration deadline is 10 days prior to the activity date. There will be no refunds after that date. Learning Outcome(s):

This activity is designed to facilitate improved understanding of the rationale for current guidelines, to allow attendees to correctly identify the most evidence-based management strategy for patients in a case-based format, and to enable attendees to then increase their confidence in prescribing medications and making decisions regarding invasive therapies in the practice setting.

Accreditation

Dartmouth-Hitchcock is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock designates this live activity for a maximum of 11 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Receiving Credit

The follow steps must be completed in order to receive credit for this event:

  • Register for the event online
  • Attend the event or session(s). A credit tracking sheet will be provided.
  • Complete the online evaluation - Must be submitted within 30 days after the activity

    Accessing the Online Evaluation (The evaluation is available the day after the event)

  • Log onto https://ce.dartmouth-hitchcock.org/login.aspx
  • Click on the My Activities link in the left side menu. Then click on the name of the activity you attended.
  • Click on the Resume button.
  • Click the Continue button until the Evaluation tab is active, and then click the Launch button.
  • Fill out the evaluation and then click submit. Credits will then be applied to your transcript. You can view your updated transcript by clicking on the "View Transcript" button.

The following hotels have offered participants the following rates for attending the conference. Please contact them directly to make your reservations and reference “Cardiovascular Disease Symposium” to receive the discounted rate. Rooms will be available on a first come, first served basis and availability is at the discretion of the hotel (rates are subject to change). Price does not include 9% NH tax.

*Please note, during this time period, the hotel requires a 2 night minimum that must include Friday and Saturday nights. An early departure fee in an amount equal to one night’s stay will be charged for guests choosing to depart before the two-night minimum.

Course Materials
A flash drive with speaker materials will be provided at the symposium. All updated speaker PPt slides will be made available in pdf form online 2-4 days after the conference. Attendees will receive an email with a link to access the documents.

The CME and CNE Offices are not liable for expenses incurred by participants due to cancellation or changes in programs.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Employees - Tuition fees must be paid online by credit card. D-H Accounts Payable will no longer process internal transfers of registration fees. Individuals must pay online with a credit card and then seek reimbursement, if appropriate.

Parking - In order to accommodate and best serve our patients’ parking needs, we request that all weekday conference and meeting attendees park in Lot 9 and use the Lot 9 shuttle service. Shuttles run approximately every 20 minutes - please allow enough time to accommodate this. For weekend meetings and conferences, onsite parking is permitted. View directions & map to Lot 9.
