Falls Prevention in High-Risk Populations

Please join us for this annual program, presented in partnership with the NH Falls Risk Reduction Task Force. Topics will include falls prevention strategies for individuals with dementia, frail older adults, individuals in in-patient settings, and in individuals with upper extremity fractures or with traumatic brain injury.

All interested healthcare and related professionals are welcome!

The registration fee is $35.

Preregistration and payment required. The registration deadline is September 27, 2017. There will be no refunds after that date. Learning Outcome

At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to discuss at least two strategies for falls prevention in high-risk populations.

Receiving Credit

The follow steps must be completed in order to receive credit for this event:

  • Register for the event online
  • Attend the event or session(s). A credit tracking sheet will be provided.
  • Complete the online evaluation - Must be submitted within 30 days after the activity

  • Log onto https://mylogin.hitchcock.org/ce
  • Click on the My Activities link in the left side menu. Then click on the name of the activity you attended.
  • Click on the Resume button.
  • Click the Continue button until the Evaluation tab is active, and then click the Launch button.
  • Fill out the evaluation and then click submit. Credits will then be applied to your transcript. You can view your updated transcript by clicking on the "View Transcript" button.
