First Annual Ambulatory Care Conference: Nursing Leadership, Advocacy and Innovation

Ambulatory Care Nurses: Join us as we explore the ambulatory nurse role as leader, advocate and innovator at Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s first annual ambulatory nursing care conference. We proudly present keynote speaker, Susan Paschke, MSN, RN-BC, NEA-BC, expert ambulatory care nurse and past president of the American Association of Ambulatory Care Nurses (AAACN).

Registration is online and by credit card only. 

The registration fees are as follows:

  • Dartmouth-Hitchcock Employees and Affiliates: No Charge
  • NEAH Hospital Employees: $45
  • Others: $90

Preregistration and payment required. The registration deadline is 10 days prior to the activity date. There will be no refunds after that date. A $10 administrative fee for a registration fee of under $50, and a $25 administrative fee for a registration of $50 and over, will be retained on all refunds requested before the registration deadline. Speaker Bio

Susan Paschke, MSN, RN-BC, NEA-BC, is the past president and a board member of the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN). She has been a member of AAACN for 25 years serving in multiple positions. In addition, Susan is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, American College of Healthcare Executives, Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses, National Association for Healthcare Quality, Sigma Theta Tau and the Cleveland State University School of Nursing Visiting Committee.

Learning Outcome(s)

At the conclusion of this conference, the learner will be able to discuss at least three unique topics that are of great concern to the nurse who practices in the ambulatory setting.


Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nursing Continuing Education Council is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This educational activity carries 4.75 contact hours.

Receiving Contact Hours

The follow steps must be completed in order to receive contact hours for this event:

  • Attend the event or session(s). A contact hours tracking sheet will be provided.
  • Complete the online evaluation - Must be submitted within 30 days after the activity

  • Log onto https://ce.dartmouth-hitchcock.org/login.aspx
  • Click on the My Activities link in the left side menu. Then click on the name of the activity you attended.
  • Click on the Resume button.
  • Click the Continue button until the Evaluation tab is active, and then click the Launch button.
  • Fill out the evaluation and then click submit. Contact hours will then be applied to your transcript. You can view your updated transcript by clicking on the "View Transcript" button.
