Advances in Critical Care 2018: A Symposium for Critical Care Nurses

Advances in Critical Care 2018 is designed to provide critical care nurses and other healthcare providers with evidence-based information related to caring for the critically ill adult. Each topic is relevant to critical care practice today.

Registration is online and by credit card only. 

The registration fees are as follows:

  • Dartmouth-Hitchcock Employees and Affiliates: No Charge
  • NEAH Hospital Employees: $25
  • Others: $40

Preregistration and payment required. The registration deadline is 10 days prior to the activity date. There will be no refunds after that date. Learning Outcome(s)

At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to discuss three recent evidence based changes in practice related to nursing care of the critically ill adult.


Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nursing Continuing Education Council is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This educational activity carries 6.25 contact hours.

Receiving Contact Hours

The follow steps must be completed in order to receive contact hours for this event:

  • Register for the event online
  • Attend the event or session(s). A contact hours tracking sheet will be provided.
  • Complete the online evaluation - Must be submitted within 30 days after the activity

    Accessing the Online Evaluation (The evaluation is available the day after the event)

  • Log onto https://ce.dartmouth-hitchcock.org/login.aspx
  • Click on the My Activities link in the left side menu. Then click on the name of the activity you attended.
  • Click on the Resume button.
  • Click the Continue button until the Evaluation tab is active, and then click the Launch button.
  • Fill out the evaluation and then click submit. Contact hours will then be applied to your transcript. You can view your updated transcript by clicking on the "View Transcript" button.
