Gastroenterology for the Advanced Practice Provider: A Case Study Approach - “Food for Thought: Roles for dietary interventions in GI diseases?”

Using interactive cases, essential up-to-date evidence-based approaches to common gastrointestinal and hepatic problems will be reviewed. Key learning points applicable to the everyday practice of Advanced Practice Practitioners will be underscored along with a focus on some practical applications for therapeutic and adjunctive dietary interventions.

Registration is online and by credit card only. 

The registration fees are as follows:

  • Physicians: $100
  • Advanced Practice Providers: $50
  • Other Healthcare Professionals: $40
  • RN, LPN, LNA, CNA, CMA: $25
  • Students, Residents and Fellows: No Charge (advance registration required for planning purposes)

Preregistration and payment required. The registration deadline is 10 days prior to the activity date. There will be no refunds after that date. A $10 administrative fee for a registration fee of under $50, and a $25 administrative fee for a registration of $50 and over, will be retained on all refunds requested before the registration deadline. At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to interpret appropriate data in order to provide evidence-based intervention for common GI conditions including solid food dysphagia, IBS, Crohn’s Disease, and C difficile infection.

The follow steps must be completed in order to receive credit for this event:

  • Click on the My Activities link in the left side menu. Then click on the name of the activity you attended.
  • Click on the Resume button.
  • Click the Continue button until the Evaluation tab is active, and then click the Launch button.
  • Fill out the evaluation and then click submit. Credits will then be applied to your transcript. You can view your updated transcript by clicking on the "View Transcript" button.
