8th Biennial Radford C. Tanzer Symposium: The Extremes of the Extremities

The Tanzer Symposium is a biennial meeting dedicated to Dartmouth’s first Chief of Plastic Surgery and pioneer in pediatric ear reconstruction Dr. Radford C. Tanzer. Dr. Tanzer’s traits of innovative thought, compassionate attention to his patient’s needs, and excellence in Plastic Surgery are at the core of the symposium which honors his legacy.

This year's event will feature a day of presentations followed by a hands-on cadaver lab.

The registration fees are as follows:

Preregistration and payment required. The registration deadline is October 7th. There will be no refunds after the registration deadline has been reached. A $10 administrative fee for a registration fee of under $50, and a $25 administrative fee for a registration of $50 and over, will be retained on all refunds requested before the registration deadline. Learning Outcome(s)

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to discuss at least three evidence-based updates in the care of patients with upper and lower extremity disease or injury such as trauma care, sarcoma management, neuropathic pain and compression neuropathies, targeted muscle re-innervation, and surgical enhancement of myoelectric prosthetic care.


Dartmouth-Hitchcock is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
