The 15th Ethics Committee Training Day

This new and improved interactive day-long workshop provides an opportunity for current and prospective members of interprofessional healthcare bioethics committees to gain introductory knowledge of healthcare related ethical issues and to network with colleagues. Individuals not affiliated with healthcare bioethics committees who are interested in ethical issues are also welcome.

The planning committee would like to acknowledge the Grimshaw-Gudewicz Charitable Foundation for its support of this educational offering.

Registration is online and by credit card only. 

The registration fee is $25. Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (Lebanon) Clinical Ethic Committee Members are invited to attend free of charge. Advance registration is required for planning purposes. For a need-based scholarship, please contact Amanda Sanchez at Amanda.E.Sanchez@hitchcock.org.

The registration deadline is 10 days prior to the activity date. There will be no refunds after the registration deadline has been reached. Please note that we provide a simple light breakfast and/or lunch depending on conference times: options are limited. If you have specific dietary needs, please plan to bring your food with you to the conference. For conferences that are held on-site at DHMC, there are several options available for food purchases including our two hospital cafeterias.

At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to describe the role and responsibilities of healthcare based bioethics committee members.

Receiving Credit

The follow steps must be completed in order to receive credit for this event:

  • Register for the event online
  • Attend the event or session(s). A credit tracking sheet will be provided.
  • Complete the online evaluation - Must be submitted within 30 days after the activity

    Accessing the Online Evaluation (The evaluation is available the day after the event)

  • Log onto https://ce.dartmouth-hitchcock.org/login.aspx
  • Click on the My Activities link in the left side menu. Then click on the name of the activity you attended.
  • Click on the Resume button.
  • Click the Continue button until the Evaluation tab is active, and then click the Launch button.
  • Fill out the evaluation and then click submit. Credits will then be applied to your transcript. You can view your updated transcript by clicking on the "View Transcript" button.

Parking - In order to accommodate and best serve our patients’ parking needs, we request that all weekday conference and meeting attendees park in Lot 9 and use the Lot 9 shuttle service.
