The Fifth Annual Nursing Leadership Conference: Embracing Change - Cancelled

This program has been cancelled.

Nurses who serve in a variety of professional roles must learn to address change in an effective way. This requires not only a variety of skills and communication techniques, but also tenacity and oftentimes, courage, in order to be effective champions of change. We know that no matter what our role is as nurses, or our formal or informal leadership status, we are perfectly positioned to lead and maintain innovative changes that are evidence-based and that build on a foundation that is grounded in quality and safety: both of which are key to the patient experience. Embracing and managing change and recognizing and addressing resistance to change is an essential leadership issue in today’s health care arena. We invite you to join us for learning, conversation, and discussion that will guide you in meeting the ongoing challenges in our always dynamic health care settings.
