Interprofessional Grand Rounds – Unconscious Bias

Unconscious bias is present in each and every one of us. It drives our decision making process both professionally and personally, often in a negative direction, due to a lack of awareness of our own belief system. This often contradicts our conscious values. The presentation will provide an overview of unconscious bias and its effects.
