HOBSCOTCH Cognitive Coach Training & Certification

HOBSCOTCH Cognitive Coach Certification is designed to prepare learners to deliver home based self-management and cognitive training to epilepsy patients who have cognitive challenges. Problem solving therapy, compensatory memory strategies and self-awareness exercises are key educational components. Didactic lectures, video demonstration and supervised role-playing allow learners to acquire the knowledge and skill set required to deliver the intervention to patients.

Learning Outcome

At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to utilize lessons learned in order to deliver home based self-management, including cognitive training, to patients with epilepsy.
