DH Ambulatory Nursing Presents
Ambulatory Nurses and Innovation:
How Nurses Can Shape Healthcare

Our U.S. healthcare system is faced with challenges; challenges which impact healthcare quality and access to care. This past year has forced all of us to take a hard look at our healthcare delivery system and make monumental changes to keep our doors open while providing life-sustaining care. Nurses have been on the front lines; innovating and changing care to meet the needs of patients. While much of the attention has focused on hospital-based care, ambulatory nurses have been a vital source of innovation and resiliency in our communities and neighborhoods. This lecture will focus on the importance of ambulatory nurses and the need for this segment of the workforce to continue to drive healthcare innovation to improve not only access to care but the quality of care delivered.

The virtual conference meeting access link will be emailed to registered participants 24 - 48 hours prior to the start of the activity.
