Nursing Grand Rounds – Excessive Alcohol Use: Nurse’s Role in Screening, Brief Intervention (Advice) & Referral for Treatment

Nurses encounter patients impacted by excessive alcohol use across all healthcare settings. This presentation will discuss the impact of excessive alcohol use on health and explore the underutilized role of the nurse in reducing risks related to excessive alcohol use.
