Northern New England Travel Medicine Symposium - Navigating Global Travel in the Pandemic Era

This symposium is geared toward the experienced travel medicine clinician. Located at the beautiful Steele Hill Resorts in Sanbornton, NH and limited to 60 participants, the small group format fosters in depth learning through expert didactics and challenging case discussions.

Opportunities for networking with long mid day breaks and evening networking/cocktail hour prior to dinner each evening. Topics include: Sessions devoted to COVID-19 pandemic, Socially Responsible Travel, Pharmacology, Parasitology, Psychiatric issues, Needle phobia, and many more. On Thursday night we bring back the very popular Game Night to bring fun and humor to Travel Medicine Topics.

The registration fees are as follows (includes 3 dinners, 2 lunches and 3 breakfasts):

  • Fellows, APRN, PA, RN: $350
  • MD, DO: $500

Preregistration and payment required. The registration deadline is 10 days prior to the activity date. There will be no refunds after the registration deadline has been reached. Learning Outcome(s)

At the end of this symposium, (at least 75% of) learners will be able to apply new knowledge, skills, and suggested behaviors to current practice in order to competently and successfully design a plan of care that will best prepare patients for safe travel.

Receiving Credit

The follow steps must be completed in order to receive credit for this event:

  • Register for the event online
  • Attend the event or session(s). A credit tracking sheet will be provided.
  • Complete the online evaluation - Must be submitted within 30 days after the activity

  • Log onto https://ce.dartmouth-hitchcock.org/login.aspx
  • Click on the My Activities link in the left side menu. Then click on the name of the activity you attended.
  • Click on the Resume button.
  • Click the Continue button until the Evaluation tab is active, and then click the Launch button.
  • Fill out the evaluation and then click submit. Credits will then be applied to your transcript. You can view your updated transcript by clicking on the "View Transcript" button.
