Skin is the body’s largest organ. Protecting our patients’ skin is paramount to their health and well-being. This course will give you tips and tricks to care for your patient’s skin and prevent injuries.

The registration fees are as follows:

  • In-person registration is available for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Lebanon, Concord, Manchester, Nashua, and Bedford employees. The fee for in-person is $10.
  • Virtual registration fee: $10
    The virtual conference meeting access link will be emailed to registered participants 24 - 48 hours prior to the start of the activity.

In-person is limited to 65 attendees. The amount of in-person registrants is subjected to change based on COVID guidelines.

Preregistration and payment required. The registration deadline is 10 days prior to the activity date. There will be no refunds after the registration deadline has been reached. If you are not able to attend, as soon as possible you must provide the appropriate notification, ideally more than 24 hour notice in advance (unless your supervisor verifies in writing (email) that emergent circumstances prevented your attendance). If you do not attend the training and fail to provide appropriate notice, you may receive corrective action from your supervisor.

Learning Outcome(s)

At the conclusion of this learning activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to discuss at least three key points that are important in the overall care and protection of skin.


Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nursing Continuing Education Council is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This educational activity carries 3.5 contact hours.

A Certificate of Attendance will be provided to MAs and LNAs.

Receiving Contact Hours

The follow steps must be completed in order to receive contact hours for this event:

  • Register for the event online
  • Attend the event or session(s). A contact hours tracking sheet will be provided.
  • Complete the online evaluation - Must be submitted within 30 days after the activity

    Accessing the Online Evaluation (The evaluation is available the day after the event)

  • Log onto https://ce.dartmouth-hitchcock.org/login.aspx
  • Click on the My Activities link in the left side menu. Then click on the name of the activity you attended.
  • Click on the Resume button.
  • Click the Continue button until the Evaluation tab is active, and then click the Launch button.
  • Fill out the evaluation and then click submit. Contact hours will then be applied to your transcript. You can view your updated transcript by clicking on the "View Transcript" button.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Employees - Tuition fees must be paid online by credit card. D-H Accounts Payable will no longer process internal transfers of registration fees. Individuals must pay online with a credit card and then seek reimbursement, if appropriate.

Parking - In order to accommodate and best serve our patients’ parking needs, we request that all weekday conference and meeting attendees park in Lot 9 and use the Lot 9 shuttle service. Shuttles run approximately every 20 minutes - please allow enough time to accommodate this. For weekend meetings and conferences, onsite parking is permitted. View directions & map to Lot 9.
